Aon appoints new EMEA captive executive

Aon has announced that David Hogg has been appointed to the position of regional managing director, EMEA for captive and insurance management.

The company said that Hogg brings 32 years of experience in the captive industry and joined Aon in 2008. He has led captive service operations in Bermuda, the Isle of Man and across EMEA, serving clients in every major industry sector.

Hogg was previously strategy and delivery leader of Aon's White Rock operations. He was responsible for developing its strategy and solution lines and ensuring that White Rock's global group of protected and incorporated cell companies continue to deliver a market-leading offering to the evolving needs of its clients, colleagues and the re/insurance market alike.

Before joining Aon Hogg served as vice president at Marsh Management Services (Guernsey) from 2003 to 2007, where he was responsible for operational captive management for Marsh Guernsey and Marsh Malta.
