Kairos appoints new Southeast Asia MD

Singapore-based boutique insurance solutions consultancy Kairos Risk Solutions has appointed Albert Lim to be managing director, Southeast Asia.

Kairos said Lim is a well-respected veteran in the political risk, trade credit and surety insurance sector. He has previously held senior leadership roles in Swiss Re Corporate Solutions, Standard Chartered Bank and QBE Insurance.

“Albert’s reputation as one of the most experienced senior executives in the trade credit and surety risk management space will greatly enhance our ability to develop meaningful risk solutions for our clients in the region,” said Chai Chiap Fam, chairman of Kairos Risk Solutions.

Kairos is a risk consultancy firm with presences in Singapore and Shanghai. The company primarily develops insurance products such as parametric, agriculture, trade credit and surety, for brokers and insurers.
